Summary: Torreón, Coahuila, is the promised land that suffers still the consequences of Mexico’s drug war. It’s a place of modern ruins, an abandoned city that harbours different types of old, and with them, shadows and ghosts of times gone by. When the Night Falls is a portrait of José, Víctor and Braulio’s everyday life, whose realities, although different, converge in their loneliness.
